Dining Services

Weekday lunches are pre-planned and ordered from local restaurants (menu provided).  You may eat in our community room with your neighbors and friends, or take your food home.

Recreation and Social Programming

In-house activities include resident council, bingo, cards, board games, strengthening and exercise groups, Nintendo Wii™, educational speakers, non-denominational worship services, and musical entertainment.

Our staff drives a van that provides weekly off-site activities including shopping trips, concerts, plays, museums and zoos. Visits are also planned for dining at restaurants and for day-long trips to points of interest outside the Twin Cities metro area.

Fitness and Wellness

Spiritual Care Program

WestRidge provides a spiritual care program, including nondenominational worship services and pastoral counseling by a site pastor that fosters a caring and inspirational community.

Transportation

WestRidge provides transportation for scheduled shopping, outings, events and activities. There is moderate reimbursement to residents for needed non-emergency medical transportation. Assistance is also provided with MetroMobility applications. WestRidge is located 1.5 blocks from a bus line and is 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.
